About Me

My commitment to public service is rooted in a lifetime of exposure to community involvement, local politics, and firsthand business experience.

After graduating high school, I chose to continue my studies in Sacramento where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Policy- Criminal Justice, Government and Community Relations, graduating Cum Laude. My studies gave me the opportunity to work closely and learn from experts in my field and gain valuable insight into the legislative process, from conception to action. 

As part of my senior thesis, I researched and drafted legislation, turning public policy concepts into practical solutions. During this time, I also had the opportunity to meet congressional leaders, including former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy.

My commitment to community service continued through an internship with the Gilroy Police Department under Chief Turner, where I was assigned to the South County Youth Task Force and worked closely with department leadership and local youth to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community. I was also part of the team that helped organize Gilroy’s first National Night Out, under Chief Turner’s direct guidance, bringing residents and public safety professionals together in the spirit of community and trust.

While in Sacramento, I worked with the California Tow Truck Association, an organization actively involved in advocating for legislation affecting the towing industry. During this time, I would sit in on meetings with TROC- the Towing and Regulatory Oversight Council; this experience gave me another perspective on how government decisions directly affect businesses, employees, families, and the communities they serve. 

Following the completion of my studies, I returned to my hometown, Gilroy, and began to help lead my family’s business- starting my journey from the bottom and working my way up the ranks. Taking on that responsibility taught me lessons that cannot always be learned in a classroom—how to manage an organization, make difficult financial decisions, support employees, adapt to changing circumstances, and plan for the future. Those lessons became especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic, when careful management and responsible decision-making helped our business withstand an unprecedented period of uncertainty.

Today, I remain deeply involved in our local community and Chamber of Commerce. My experiences in public policy, law enforcement relations, business, and community service have shaped my approach to leadership.

I believe strong communities are built when we listen, work together, understand the real challenges facing local families and businesses, and make responsible decisions with the future in mind.

For me, public service is about bringing that experience home and putting it to work for the community I love and am proud to serve. If elected, I will serve you with honor, integrity, and transparency. I will lead with your best interest at heart and bring District 6 the attention it needs. Our district and our children have been ignored for far too long, and I will be our voice at the table. Using my preexisting relationships with our elected leaders and staff, I will work with my colleagues to deliver for District 6 and our city as a whole.
