Letter to Residents

Hello Fellow Gilroyans, 

You may have heard the rumors—it’s true! I have officially qualified to run for Gilroy City Council District 6, and my name will be on the ballot this November.

You may be wondering why I am writing you, it’s simple: I would be your representative!

My reason for running is simple: public service is in my blood.

My entire life, I have been surrounded by people dedicated to serving our community. Since immigrating from Italy and Latin America, my family has proudly given back to Gilroy in countless ways. It is an honor to have the opportunity to continue that legacy and join the generations before me in serving the community we love.

As a fourth-generation Gilroyan, I spent my childhood and young adulthood attending community meetings, helping plan events, and volunteering at fundraisers for festivals, parades, and other local traditions. Today, I remain committed to supporting our small businesses, local nonprofit organizations, and faith community. 

My goal is simple: to use my education and experience in public policy and business to help move Gilroy forward through thoughtful economic development that creates opportunity, supports local businesses, protects our neighborhoods, and ensures our children have the resources and opportunities they deserve. I hope to be a catalyst to encourage other young people to become involved in our community’s leadership. In the paraphrased words of President John F. Kennedy “Ask not what your city can do for you, but what you can do for your community.”

Let’s focus on the future—not the past. Together, we can build a Gilroy that thrives for every resident and for generations to come.

If elected, I promise to serve with honor, integrity, and transparency. I will be your voice at the table and bring new, young, and fresh ideas to include the voices of all of our residents, no matter your generation.
