Letter to Business and Property Owners

Hello Fellow Business and Property Owners, 

You may have heard the rumors—it’s true! I have officially qualified to run for Gilroy City Council District 6, and my name will be on the ballot this November.

You may be wondering why I am writing you, it’s simple: I would your business and/or property district representative!

My reason for running is simple: public service is in my blood.

My entire life, I have been surrounded by people dedicated to serving our community. Since immigrating from Italy and Latin America, my family has proudly given back to Gilroy in countless ways. It is an honor to have the opportunity to continue that legacy and join the generations before me in serving the community we love.

As a fourth-generation Gilroyan, I spent my childhood and young adulthood attending community meetings, helping plan events, and volunteering at fundraisers for festivals, parades, and other local traditions. Today, I remain committed to supporting our small businesses, local nonprofit organizations, and faith community. As a member of our local Chamber of Commerce, I understand firsthand how policy impacts the everyday operations of our businesses.

My goal is simple: to use my education and experience in public policy and business to help move Gilroy forward through thoughtful economic development that creates opportunity, supports local businesses, protects our neighborhoods, and ensures our children have the resources and opportunities they deserve.

Let’s focus on the future—not the past. Together, we can build a Gilroy that thrives for every business and entrepreneur for generations to come.

If elected, I promise to serve with honor, integrity, and transparency. I will protect your interests and maintain my dedication to you by asking this most crucial question: Will this benefit our business community or harm their economic interests?
